<p>The stringed musical instrument, particularly a guitar, has a cross-piece supporting the bridge and secured by its base to the sounding board. To the rear of the bridge are holders for the strings. An elastic relaxation device (21) extends from the body of the instrument to the cross-member (20) at the rear of the bridge (23,24). The cross-member deflects the strings (18) w.r.t. the connecting surface between the cross-member and the sounding board.</p> |
