The system consists of cylinder locks (1, 2) and of flat keys (4a). Mounted in bores (5, 6) of the rotary cylinders (1) are blocking pins (7, 8) which sense the profile thickness of the keys and which are forced outwards as far as the outer surface (19) of the rotary cylinders (1) solely in the event of a sufficient profile thickness, so that a housing pin (15) can not drop into the bores (5, 6). Sufficient profile thickness is afforded only on the master key which has a shallow classifying notch at the sensing point of the blocking pins (7, 8). The subordinate key (4a) has a deeper classifying notch (14) at the same point, and in this key the blocking pins are held forced outwards by the shank of the core pin (10) which has a stepped upper piece (10a). <IMAGE> |
