<p>PURPOSE:To perform a room heating operation in an energy saving manner by a method wherein the space under the roof and the space under the floor of the building are made to communicate with each other, while the cool air under the floor is sucked up intermittently and warm air in the space under the roof is flowed down through a cavity in the wall of the room so that the room is heated by the warm air through the wall. CONSTITUTION:When the outer wall 1 and the roof 3 of the building is exposed under sunlight, air in ventilating layers S1 and S3 provided in the outer wall 1 and in the roof 3, respectively, are heated, raised and collects in the space 7 under the roof. In this case, when the temperature of the space 7 rises up to 20 deg.C or so, an intermittent time switch 11 is turned ON automatically or manually to thereby drive a fan 6 within a duct 5 intermittently. Accordingly, cool air in the space 8 under the floor is discharged into the space 7 under the roof and at the same time, the warm air in that space is flowed downward in the cavity 12 of the wall so that the room is heated by the warm air through the wall. Further, due to the above operation, heat is accumulated everywhere in the building during sunshine time so that the accumulated heat is released at night to keep the room warm.</p> |
