PURPOSE:To secure a fixing state stably by measuring the temperature of a heating body, and its ambient temperature and humidity, and obtaining a reference value for control over the temperature of the heating body by finding a converted temperature value which corresponds to the humidity. CONSTITUTION:The temperature and ambient temperature of the heating body 4 of the oven type heat fixing device of a copying machine are measured by heat- senting elements 10 and 12 respectively and a signal A which corresponds to the sum of the both is applied to the terminals 18a and 18b a temperature control circuit 18. A signal B which corresponds to the ambient humidity measured by a humidity sensing element 20 is applied to the terminals 18c and 18d of the circuit 18. The circuit 18 finds a converted temperature value which corresponds to the value of the signal B and adds the converted temperature value to reference value for control over the temperature of the heating body 4 to a prescribed value to obtain a new reference value. So that the signal A has the new reference value, a pulse signal is outputted to an amplifier 22 to control the heating body 4, thereby adjusting the sum of the temperature of the heating body and its ambient temperature to the best temperature value for the fixing of copying paper by the electronic copying machine. |
