<p>Novel 1-benzotriazolyloxyacetic acid amides of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4>, which can be identical or different, represent hydrogen, cyano, nitro, halogen, amino or optionally halogen-substituted (di)alkylamino, carbamoyl, monoalkylamino- or dialkylaminocarbonyl, aminosulphonyl, monoalkylamino- or dialkylaminosulphonyl, alkyl which is optionally substituted by halogen, cyano, alkoxy or alkylthio, or optionally halogen-substituted alkoxy, alkylthio or alkylsulphonyl, or in which two adjacent radicals R<1> and R<2>, R<2> and R<3> or R<3> and R<4> together represent alkylene or benzo, n represents zero or 1 and R<5> and R<6>, which can be identical or different, individually represent optionally substituted radicals from the series comprising alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalk(en)yl, aralkyl and aryl or, for the case in which n represents zero, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded form an optionally substituted, optionally partially unsaturated and optionally benzo-fused mono- or bicycle, which optionally contains further heteroatoms, and a process for their preparation, starting from appropriate 1- hydroxybenzotriazoles and haloacetic acid amides. The novel compounds of the formula (I) can in particular be used as herbicides.</p> |
