The invention concerns an electromechanical measuring arrangement for measuring the depth of a ditch 7 that is ploughed up with a plough pulled along the ground base, especially the sea bottom, which is formed by a sled 1 with essentially flat bottom 2 and a ploughing element 4 projecting downward from the bottom, especially for ploughing up cable or pipe trenches. This measuring arrangement comprises a swivel arm 11, which can swivel at one end about an axle 23 situated perpendicular to the vertical midplane of the plough, at a distance m above the bottom plane of the plough, with its other free end 14 in contact with the ground at the side of the ploughed ditch, and an angle signal transmitter 26 working between the swivel arm 11 and the frame 25 fixed to the plough, putting out a signal representative of the angle, 90 degrees-y2, between the direction of the plough bottom in said vertical midplane and the direction of the swivel arm, by means of which the depth of the ditch can be calculated. <IMAGE> |
