<p>The two meshing gears (1,2) have clearance between the gear teeth (10,20) constantly taken up by the floating mounting of the gear wheel (1). The axis (XX') of the drive shaft (3) is fixed. The drive shaft has an end flange (30) which fits into the hollow crown wheel (4). A synthetic rubber bush (5) fits over the shaft flange and into the crown wheel allowing the axis of the crown wheel to float. The drive between the shaft and the crown wheel is in the form of a sliding cross (60,61), sliding in a groove (32) in the shaft and a groove (41) in the crown wheel.</p> |
