PURPOSE:To clean the surfaces of electrodes easily with the deviation in speed difference by bringing cleaning rollers which are driven at speeds slightly differing from the driving speeds of wire electrodes into abutment on the surfaces of the belt-like electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Driving pulleys 8, 11 are driven to drive belt-like wire electrode materials 6, 13 put on roller electrodes 4, 5. At this time, cleaning rollers 7, 12 ar driven simultaneously and since these are so arranged that the outside peripheral speeds thereof delay or advance slightly from the electrodes 6, 13, the outside circumferences of the rollers 7, 12 and the surfaces of the electrode materials 6, 13 slip correspondingly. The outside circumferences of the rollers 7, 12 are knurled and therefore, when they slips, the tooth tips of the knurling cut off the surfaces of the materials 6, 13. Thereby, the plating and other stains stuck on the surfaces of the materials 6, 13 used for welding plated steel plates, etc. are cut off by the rollers 7, 12. |
