摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent a sheet thickness fluctuation due to the drooping characteristics, by correcting and controlling a speed lowering quantity so that the ratio of a speed lowering quantity of a mill motor, after biting a material to be rolled, to a set value of speed or real one of the mill motor is made equal. CONSTITUTION:A signal that determines the rolling speed of a whole cold tandem mill is outputted by a speed-standard generator MRH. Each speed setting value Vri is determined by multiplying said output by the ratio SSRHi of the number of revolutions of each mill motor at every stand STi, and is outputted to each speed controlling device ASRi. Each tacho-generator TG1-TG5 detects the real speed Vi of each mill motor MM1-MM5 to output to each device ASRi. Each device ASRi controls the speed Vi in accordance with the value Vri and signal of a speed-ratio controlling device SRCi. Accordingly after biting a coil, the speed lowering quantity of each stand STi is controlled so that the ratio of the speed lowering quantity, based on the drooping characteristics of each motor MMi, to the value Vri for each motor or the speed Vi of the MMi is in coincident at all stands.</p>
