PURPOSE:To supply a gas smoothly from a stationary part to a swiveling part by supplying the gas through a gas supply pipe to the space in a rotary cover which rotates together with the swiveling part fitted to the circumference of the stanchion of the stationary part by means of a bearing and supplying the gas to a torch through a gas discharge pipe during swiveling of the swiveling part in the stage of welding. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a trough-like vessel 10 which is made into the shape opening upward and storing liquid 14 in its inside and is fixed by enclosing the circumfenence of a stanchion 1 in the stationary part, a rotary cover 11 which is made into the shape opening downward in the liquid 14 of the vessel 10 and creating a space between the level of the liquid 14 and its inside wall and inside bottom wall, is fitted to the circumference of the stanchion 1 by means of a bearing 9 and rotates together with a swiveling part 2, a gas supply pipe 12 which supplies a gas 14 into the space in the cover 11 from below, and a gas discharge pipe 13 which supplies the gas 14 from the space of the cover 11 to the part 2. Hence, the gas 14 is supplied smoothly from the stationary part 1 to the swiveling part 2. |
