<p>Apparatus for laminating at least one surface of a sheet (2) such as an identification card, with a plastics film (3) includes a pair of conveying and pressing rollers (1A, 1B) a heat irradiation lamp (7A, 7B) arranged to face the outer circumference of at least one of the rollers so as to heat that circumference, and a concave mirror (6A, 6B) surrounding the respective lamp and roller except for the region (S) of the roller which abuts upon the other roller. Since the heat from each lamp is effectively reflected by the mirror, the lamination can be started within a short time after the lamp has been lit and the outside maintained stably at a constant temperature. Movable heat regulating means (61A, 61B) may be provided between each lamp and roller and electric heaters (9A, 9B) may be provided within the roller for use after initial warm-up of the roller surface. <IMAGE></p> |
