PURPOSE:To obtain diazo photosensitive paper preventing the fading of a copy, causing no ground stain and having superior developability by adding a specified diazo compound, a coupling component and a nickel halide to a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer composed essentially of a diazo compound represented by formulaI[where each of R1 and R2 is (substituted) alkyl, aralkyl or cycloalkyl, R1 and R2 may bond to each other to form a heterocyclic ring together with N, and X is an ion such as Cl<->, BF4<-> or HSO4<-> or a salt such as ZnCl2 or CdCl2], a coupling component represented by formula II [where R3 is H, 1-4C alkyl, alkylol or (substituted) phenyl, and R4 is H, 1- 4C alkyl, aralkyl, halogen or sulfonate]and 0.5-5.0wt% nickel halide such as NiI2 or NiBr2 to the amount of the layer is formed on a support to obtain a photoreceptor. This photoreceptor gives a copy with remarkably improved fadability by all of wet, dry and semidry developing methods. |
