PURPOSE:To discharge easily grease from inside the gearbox by inserting a discharge pipe through a lubricant injection hole at the top of gearbox to the bottom, and then introducing compressed air from the same hole. CONSTITUTION:Before applying the discharging device 11 to an injection hole 10, an adequate amount of motor oil is injected through the injection hole 10, and operation made for about 30 minutes. By the rotary motion of gears 7, 9 and pinions 5, 8, grease 18 in the gearbox 1 and injected motor oil are mixed well to improve fluidity of grease 18. Next, operation is stopped, and the discharging device 11 applied to the injection hole 10 with a discharge pipe 13 inserted through the injection hole 10 to the bottom of gearbox 1. By supplying compressed air through a hose 16 into the gearbox 1, the fluidized grease 18 in the gearbox 1 is discharged through the discharge pipe 13, being expelled by the pressure of compressed air. |
