PURPOSE:To prevent side gears and washers from moving in a case, which houses a pair of side gears and pinions meshed to said side gears and is supported in a rotatable state with a spherical internal wall, by improving the thrust washers for the side gears. CONSTITUTION:A pair of side gears 14 and pinions 12 meshed to these gears are housed in a differential gear case 6 having a spherical internal wall, and axle shafts 4 coupled to wheels are axially supported by the differential gear case 6, then said case 6 is supported to a differential gear carrier 8 in a rotatable state. In such a device, there are formed inward shaped holder parts 24 in the external edge part while outward shaped stopper parts 20 in the internal edge part respectively in thrust washers 15 interposed between an internal surface of the case 6 and the side gears 14. Then stopper parts 18 are provided in an internal wall in the vicinity of fitting holes of the shafts 4 in the case 6 and fitted with said stopper parts 20, in this way the side gears 14 and the washers 15 can be prevented from moving in the case 6. |
