Piezoelectric ceramic compositions comprising a principal component, <IMAGE> and manganese contained therein as an additive in the amount of 0.1 to 2.0 wt % of MnO2 with respect to the weight of 1 mol of the principal component. The piezoelectric ceramic compositions are suitable for use for pyroelectric devices, piezoelectric vibrators, resonators, oscillators, ceramic filters, surface acoustic wave filters and so on. |
