In order to utilise the waste heat of a central-heating system, the steel pipe (16), channelling the waste gases in the flue (14), is provided with pipe bends (20) which branch off, lead through the wall of the flue (14) into a room (18) to be heated and, there, act as secondary-heating surface. A shut-off flap (22) fitted in the pipe (16) makes it possible to channel the hot waste gases either directly through the pipe (16) or via the pipe bends (20). <IMAGE>
