PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a transmission system, by throw two information transmission lines for operation information and trouble information from a device to be controlled to a controller into one and analyzing information logically in the controller to separate information into two. CONSTITUTION:An operation response signal transmission line and a device trouble signal transmission line which are provided together with a control signal transmission line 3 between a controller 1 and a device 2 to be controlled, are grouped into one line 10. A start/stop control signal S1 indicates the start for logical 1 and indicates the stop for logical 0, and a response signal S23 indicates the start for logical 1 and indicates the stop or the fault for logical 0; and the controller 1 generates an auxiliary signal S4 from OR between these two signals and discriminates operation modes on the basis of these signals S1, S23, and S4. That is, in the first line of table, the signal S4 is logical 1 to indicate the start state, and the signal S1 is logical 1 to indicate the start command, thus discriminating a normal response operation. Similarly, the trouble mode, the external start mode, and the stop operation mode are discriminated, respectively. |
