The device for temperature reduction of a room heating system is used in a central heating system, to which in particular the hot water central heating belongs, in order to make available, retaining the known thermostat valves or thermostat switches situated on the radiators, a simple additional device which makes possible individual temperature reduction in a room. This is achieved in that the device (5) is a heating device which is arranged close to the thermostat (3) connected to a local radiator (2) and is controllable by means of a timer (7). <IMAGE>
