PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of films by the toner particles remained in the recesses existing on the surface of a photoconductive layer wherein a photoconductive material is dispersed in a resin binder and the degration of photosensitive characteristics, etc. by packing materials bonding to each other by chemical reaction in said recesses. CONSTITUTION:Methyl methacrylate monomer particles 3 are packed in the recesses of a layer 1 of a photoreceptor consisting of a conductive substrate 2 formed thereon with a photoconductive layer 1 wherein, for example, photoconductive ZnO is dispersed in a resin binder, after which these are photopolymerized to form a polymer 3' or polyamide is used in the resin binder of the layer 1 and epoxy resin particles 3 are used for the packing particles and are caused to react with the polyamide, whereby the recesses are packed 3' with high adhesive strength between the packed materials as well as between the layer 1 and the packed materials and without any void. Thereby, the formation of films by the toner entering the recesses and left without removed during cleaning is prevented. In this way, degradation in charging characteristics, photosensitive characteristics, etc. is prevented and the long-life photoreceptor is obtained. |
