PURPOSE:To realize a portable copying machine that can copy an original at an optional position, by securing a shift for an electrophotographic photoreceptor between a close touching position where the photoreceptor touches close the original and a distant position from the original while the copying machine touches the original. CONSTITUTION:A transfer plate 15 of a copying machine is put at the rear side of a transfer medium 17, and the copying machine is set on the plate 15 to hold the medium 17. When a transfer switch is turned on under such conditions, a device storing part 4 moves down within a case 3 by means of storing part shifting rollers 5 and 6. Then the lower surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor 7 touches close the medium 17 with the prescribed pressure, and said surface is stopped there. When the rollers 5 and 6 stop, an electric field is formed to adsorb the toner to the plate 15. Then the copying is carried out by a known method. When the copying is over, the part 4 is shifted to a distant position by the rollers 5 and 6. |
