PURPOSE:The heat sensitive recording paper which is obtained by including a colorless or hypochromic coloring material and a specified compound in the heat recording paper, and wherein coloring sensitivity is improved and distinct coloring is attained at low temperatures. CONSTITUTION:The colorless or hypochromic coloring material and the phenol compound shown by the formula (n is 2 or 3) are included in the heat sensitive recording paper. As for said coloring material, a material, which can be reacted with the phenol compound and colored, is used. For example, crystal violet lactone; Malachite Green lactone; 3, 3-bis(paradimethyl aminophenyl); 4, 5, 6, 7-tetrachlorophthalide and the like are used. The phenol compound shown in the formula can be used together with other phenol compound which is liquified or gasified at 70 deg.C or higher, reacted with said coloring material, and colored, e.g. 4, 4'-isopropylidene diphenol and the like. |
