<p>PURPOSE:To improve the follow-up performance of a wind power generator to the variation of the direction of wind by symmetrically providing wind mills at both right and left sides around a vertical shaft of a direction control shaft with respect to the direction of the wind with the vertical shaft of the paddle type wind mills as a horizontal shaft. CONSTITUTION:A drive box 18 integral with a hollow turning shaft 5 rotatably engaged with the center of a generator 3 is constructed, rotary drums 2, 2' are rotatbly journalled at the horizontal shaft of rotary shaft at both right and left sides, and rotary blades 1, 1' are provided at the horizontal shaft circumferentially at equal interval in the vertical plane outsides the drums 2, 2'. The rotating angle is controlled so that the resistance of the rotary blades 1, 1' becomes minimum at the time when the blades are retarded.</p> |
