PURPOSE:To surely prevent clogging of the first orifice by providing an air chamber having the second orifice in front of the first orifice and by filling up liquid in the air chamber at the time of non-jetting to cover the second orifice. CONSTITUTION:At the time of non-jetting when no jetting of ink droplets is conducted, and ink head 14 is turned at an angle of 90 degrees by the rotation of a stand 3 and the second orifice 10 is covered with a pad 17. At this time of non-jetting, a liquid tank 11 is positioned above the ink head 14 and the air chamber 8 is filled up with the liquid 12 from the liqud tank 11. That is, the first orifice 7 wherein clogging occurs usually is covered with the 12 at the time of non-jetting. Althrough the liquid 12 covering the first orifice 7 contacts with the air at the second orfice 10, any clogging to be caused mainly by sticking of dust and drying does not occur, since the second orfice 10 is covered with the pad 17 and since the opening diameter of the second orfice 10 is twice or more larger than that of the first orifice 7. |
