PURPOSE:To keep a stable combustion for a long period of time by a method wherein reduction of vaporized amt. of fuel caused by a tar material generated and accumulated at a fuel vaporization part in the wick part and a production of odor and CO etc. associated therewith are prevented. CONSTITUTION:Stable flame (f) is formed at the air holes 12 in an inner flame cylinder 2 during an initial period of time, latent heat of vaporization of the fuel is fed to a fuel vaporization part 9a to generate a vaporized fuel. In this case, the air holes 12a- 12c having their opening diameters gradually decreased in sequence toward the upward direction in opposite to the vaporization part 9a cause a mixing concentration of fuel and air to show a high value and not to form any flame due to a low temperature of the mixed gas, resulting in providing a stable combustion and a rated volume of combustion. Then, if the amt. of accumulated tar materials (ta) and (tb) is increased in the vaporization part 9a after use of long period of time, the amt. of vaporization of the fuel is reduced, the latent heat of vaporization is also decreased to cause elevation of the temperature of atmosphere and the flames (fb), (fc) and the flame (fa) are formed, the vaporization part 9a is heated by these flames to remove the tar materials (ta) and (tb) and the like by a thermal decomposition and thereby the vaporization of the fuel is promoted. |
