PURPOSE:To prevent clamping wire from being corroded by a method wherein abutting material made of or elastic abutting material containing power of metal electrochemically baser than the metal of the wire is interposed between the wire and a roofing tile, both of which will contact with each other at the clamping of the water heater on a roof with the wire, if the abutting material is not adapted. CONSTITUTION:In the case that the water heater utilizing solar heat 1 is mounted on roofing tiles and clamped to the tiles with the wires 2 atretched between the water heater 1 and coach screws 5, which are fixed to a gableboare at a plurality of its positions as fasteners for clamping, the contact part of the wire 2 and the tile 3 is abutted with the abutting material 4 made of metal such as, for example, carbon steel or the like which is electrochemically baser than the metal of the wire 2 or with the abutting material 4 such as, for example, rubber sheet containing zinc powder or the like which is also electrochemically baser than the metal of the wire 2. Owing to the clamping method as decribed above, the abutting material is corroded and the wire 2 is protected from corrosion. Accordingly the prevention of accidnent such as the falling of the water heater 1 due to the breakage of the wire 2 or the like is resulted. |
