COAXIAL RESONATOR FOR SUPERHIGH FREQUENCY

PURPOSE:To increase the working efficiency for attachment of a supporting plate, by forming the supporting plate by cutting a part of the peripheral area of a discoidal dielectric into almost a polygon and inserting such supporting plate into the tip area of a central conductor. CONSTITUTION:A central conductor supporting plate 301 functions as a dielectric substrate, and its shape is formed by cutting three areas 302-304 which are enclosed by the circular arcs and chord out of a discoidal dielectric. The plate 301 touches an external conductor at circular parts 306-308. Such plate 301 is used to support a central conductor 102. Furthermore the plate 301 has small friction when it is put into a resonator since the area touching a coaxial external conductor 101 is extremely reduced, and is accordingly set and fixed in an easy way.
