PURPOSE:To reduce the variation in the concentration of mixture gas by a construction wherein injected fuel is made to collide with a throttle value within the range of 1/3-2/3 of the radius thereof irrespective of the opening of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:When the radius of a throttle valve 7 is represented by r, the fuel injecting direction of a fuel injection valve 17 is arranged to be directed toward r/3-2r/3 from the center of rotation. Since the fuel is injected upward and leftward of the valve 7 in the idling operation of an engine in which the opening of the valve is small in this manner, the fuel is generally uniformly spread to the entire surface of the valve 7 slightly inclined and is flowed from the periphery of the valve 7. At this time, the fuel is finely atomized by the air stream which passes through the peripheral gap between the wall surface of the suction gas passage and the valve 7, thereby providing uniform concentration mixture gas. |
