PURPOSE:To prevent surging from generating at transient state, by allowing an extremely little delay in time between a displacement motion to be conducted by a diffuser vane of a compressor and a displacement motion to be conducted by a nozzle vane of a turbine at the transient state. CONSTITUTION:In the case of executing an acceleration in a gas turbine engine 30 provided with transient control device 39, drive signals DS and TS of a dif- fuser and a nozzle vane, which are matching a differential output N, are transmitted to drive devices 31 and 32. At this time, an operation signal based on judgement of the acceleration is transmitted to a switch operating device 44 in a switch operation signal generating circuit 43, the operating device 44 turns movable contacts 42D and 42T of a switch 42 and becomes connected to contacts DSA and TSA. And therefore, at first, the nozzle vane of the turbine is displaced by the signal TS in the direction of ''open'', and after the completion of the set delay in time, the diffuser vane of the compressor is displaced by the signal DS in the direction of ''open''. |
