PURPOSE:To maintain the high surface resistivity of a coil end section for a long term, and to diagnose degradation for a long period by forming an insulating layer having excellent repellency, the principal ingredient thereof is silicon resin, to the surface of the coil end section. CONSTITUTION:The insulating layers 9 having excellent repellency, the principal ingredient thereof is silicon resin, are shaped to the surfaces of the coil end sections 6 projected from a core slot 7. Accordingly, the dielectric loss tangent characteristics of an insulating layer 8 of the coil in the slot can accurately be measured for a long term because the coil end sections 6 do not absorb moisture for a long period and the high surface resistivity can be kept. |
