PURPOSE:To obtain a sterilizer with a small heat loss, by providing a storage tank for warm water of heat insulating structure, a cooling part separated from a pressure tank, and driving sprockets in a path for transporting a material to be sterilized. CONSTITUTION:The storage tank 5 for warm water having the cover 17 of double structure putting a heat insulating material and the cold water part 6 for retaining cooling water are set in the pressure tank 1. The cold water part 6 is connected to the attaching and detaching part 2 outside the pressure tank 1 through the middle part having a pressure isolating mechanism. A material to be sterilized is attached to the chain 3 at the attaching and detaching part 2, fed to the storage tank 5 for warm water along the sprocket 16, sterilized under heating, cooled by the cold water part 6, and taken out from the attaching and detaching part 2. The chain 3 is made to run in the desired direction by a sprocket group consisting of a great number of sprockets 16, 16a, 16b, 16c, and 16d. |
