<p>PURPOSE:To realize a test of a communication circuit for each optional section and to increase the test efficiency, by previously sorting and storing the transmission characteristics of the circuit to be tested with every section where a station is installed. CONSTITUTION:Circuit terminating devices 1 and 2 are connected to each other via communication circuits 3-12 plus intra-office devices 13-16. Each intra-office device includes test parts 17-20 where the test is carried out for the communication circuit, control parts 21-24 that control the test parts plus tansmitting/receiving parts 25-28 where the data communication is carried out to another intra-office device of another station. At the same time, an intra-office device 29 storing the constitution of the circuit to be tested and the transmission characteristics is installed at a station which controls the circuit to be tested. In addition, a control storage part 30 is provided to control the stations on the circuit to be tested along with a transmitting/receiving part 31 which performs the data communication to another intra-office device of another station. Then a pointer address which discriminates the stations on the circuit to be tested, the pointer addresses of the stations which are adjacent to each other via the circuit to be tested and the transmission characteristics of a section between these addresses are previously stored in the part 30.</p> |
