PURPOSE:To raise apparent resolution, by superposing a random noise on an input analog signal, executing its A/D conversion, and accumulating data obtained by sampling this output by a prescribed number of times. CONSTITUTION:A random noise from a random noise generator 1 is superposed on an input analog signal A, and it is applied to an A/D converter 3 of (m) bits. Subsequently, in accordance with a converting command pulse Ps from a timing circuit 2, sampling is executed by a prescribed number of times N in the sampling period in case when the A/D converter 3 is usually used. Subsequently, sampling data D/A of said N times portion are accumulated by an adder 4 and a register 5, and by a strobe signal Pb from the timing circuit 2, an output DB of the register 5 is inputted to a register 6 and is stored. According to such constitution, each sampling data becomes each different value, therefore, a data DB which has accumulated said each data becomes data having resolution of (n) (n>m) bits. |
