Epoxy resin composition and process for production

An epoxy resin composition capable of application at elevated solids levels is disclosed. The composition is produced by low temperature catalytic fusion of (a) a glycidyl ether of bisphenol A and (b) a glycidyl ether of bisphenol A containing a fusion catalyst with (c) tetrabromobisphenol A. This composition may be utilized to facilitate forming improved epoxy coatings and laminates.
