A bakery oven having at least one circular plate, which is rotatably arranged on the floor of the oven, for supporting a bakery carriage. With the aim of producing a cheap and easily removable construction which is located at only a few mm's height above the floor of the oven chamber, it is proposed that an endless chain 18, which is provided with a driver 17 and which is arranged in tooth engagement with a cog wheel 20 which can be driven by a motor 22, be firmly mounted along the circumference of the plate 16 and that friction-decreasing members 23, preferably ball rollers, which permit a very low construction height above the floor of the oven, be arranged on the side of the plate 16 which is facing the oven floor 14. <IMAGE> |
