PURPOSE:To prevent an injected material from leaking to the exterior by a method wherein the inside peripheral surface of a hose cover is provided with a ridge closely contacting with the outside peripheral surface of a hose, while the hose cover is fitted over the hose and then injection molding is conducted, in the titled method for a bellowed hose of an electric vacuum cleaner and the like. CONSTITUTION:The hose cover 7 for covering an end of a corrugated hose 1 is separately molded from a material such as a semi-rigid synthetic resin or the like, and its inside peripheral surface is provided with a spiral ridge 8 which contacts with the outside peripheral surface of the hose 1 along the entire circumference. The hose cover 7 is twistedly fitted over the hose 1 and fixed at a predetermined position of the hose end, while the tip of a core 4 is inserted into the hose 1, and this assembly is set in the interior of a half-split mold 5, 5'. After clamping the mold 5, 5', a molding material such as a resin is charged by injecting into a cavity 6 through a runner 9. Accordingly, a mouthpiece 10 conforming to the shape of the cavity 6 is molded as one body with the hose 1 and the hose cover 7. |
