PURPOSE:To make capable of containing selectively battery of different sizes by providing a battery receiver and battery contact which are both reciprocally movable to different directions each other in a battery container. CONSTITUTION:A battery receiver 11 is directed upwardly by an extension spring 40 to engage the battery to battery contacts 12a,12b, and the receiver is pressed into the axial direction by extension springs 44a,44b to touch tightly the positive terminal to the electrode plate 45 and the negative terminal to the electrode plate 13 when a small battery 52a such as SUM-3 is contained in a battery container 2 in a box of a radio receiver. While, when a large battery such as SUM-1 is contained, the battery contaner 11 moves downwardly, the outside diameter of the battery is held with the battery contacts 12a,12b, the negative electrode plate 13 moves right to hold in the axial direction with the springs 44a,44b. Thus, a battery with different sizes can be contained selectively and easily. |
