PURPOSE:To obtain a film excellent in mechanical properties and gas barrier property by a method wherein a non-stretched film is subjected to the first- stage stretching in specified conditions, thereafter a gas barrier film is laminated thereon, and the laminate is subjected to the second-stage stretching in specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A non-stretched plastic film excellent in mechanical properties, such as a polypropylene film, is subjected to the first-stage stretching in such conditions as to satisfy the formulaI(wherein R1 is the area stretch ratio of the first-stage stretching and R2 is the area stretch ratio of the second-stage stretching), and a stretchable plastic film having gas barrier property is laminated thereon. The laminate is subjected to the second-stage stretching in such conditions as to satisfy the formulasIand II. Accordingly, a film having excellent mechanical properties and high gas barrier property can be obtained easily. |
