PURPOSE:To improve the temperature characteristics influenced by time aging of oscillation frequency, by obtaining voltage applied to a variable capacity diode, from a temperature variable resistance element connected in parallel to one terminal of a split voltage for splitting the voltage of a reference voltage power supply. CONSTITUTION:A variable capacity diode 3 is used as a functional device by which oscillation frequency of an oscillation part 1 is made variable. Voltage applied to the diode 3 is obtained from a temperature variable resistance element 8 connected in parallel to one terminal of a split resistor 6 for splitting the reference voltage of a reference voltage power supply 7. In this state, in case when the oscillation frequency has become high, control voltage of the diode 3 is adjusted low. As a result, the influence exerted on the frequency variation by the element 8 is shifted to a characteristic C from a characteristic B. Also, in case when the oscillation frequency has become low, the control voltage of the diode 3 is adjusted high. As a result, the influence exerted on the frequency variation by the element 8 is shifted to a characteristic A from the characteristic B. In this way, the frequency temperature characteristics of a piezoelectric oscillator is improved. |
