PURPOSE:To provide a single slip inserter having simple constitution and being compact and light without necessitating an independent driving source and control circuit therefor, by a method wherein driving force from a driving source within a printing apparatus body is connected detachably to a driven member. CONSTITUTION:A single sheet inserter comprising left and right pockets 1, 2 and left and right guide posts 8, 9 is attached to a printer body 12 by that an engaging portion 22 of an attaching lever 18 arranged within the guide posts 8, 9 is engaged with an engaging pin 23 embedded within the printer body 12. After the attachment, if a pin 16a of a single slip operation changing lever 16 is transferred to a hole 17b of a notch plate 17 and the lever 16 is rotated in the rightward direction, a microswitch 20 is changed and an LED21 is lit, and at the same time an idler gear 14 is meshed with a platen gear 13 of the printer 12 and a driving shaft 10 is rotated by means of driving force of the platen gear 13 thereby single slip feeding is enabled. |
