PURPOSE:To improve a sense of expansion in case of reproduction, by fetching prescribed frequency components from signals of the first and second channels, generating a pair of signals being 180 deg. out-of-phase to each other, and applying said signals to the original channel signal. CONSTITUTION:Left and right signals L, R of a stereophonic signal are added by an adder 1 and are supplied to a delaying circuit 4 through either an HPFF1 or an LPFF2. An output of the circuit 4 is made to branch at a branch point 5, one is synthesized with the signal L, the other is synthesized with the signal R after its phase has been inverted by a phase inverter 6, and they are outputted as left and right composite signals to output terminals 14, 15. |
