<p>PURPOSE:To prevent overlap of two screens, by stopping a course processing during display range switching for a fixed time, in a course display converter converting a radial scan radar video signal into raster scan. CONSTITUTION:A display range signal 111, an off-center signal 112 are detected at a gate signal generating section 35 of a course processing section 3, a gate signal 113 with a fixed time width is generated from a generating section 35 during the display range switching and the off-center operation, and the signal is applied to a digital gate 34. Thus, a prevideo data signal 105 from an attenuation section 31 is gated, and the input to a maximum value selecting section 32 is interrupted for a fixed time, and only a new video data 103 is supplied to a display memory 4 of raster scan controlled at a coordinate conversion 2 and an address switching section 5 via a selction section 32 to prevent overlap of preceding and new pictures, allowing to achieve easy-to-see course display.</p> |
