PURPOSE:To increase the measuring accuracy of a steering angle center, by the constitution that an output voltage of a sensor sensing the movement of a steering wheel axis is stored in a delay circuit via a switch means switched through an output of a car speed detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A reed switch 13 of a car speed detector 2 is turned on/off at a prescribed distance, causing an increase/decrease of the output level of an inverter 17. The output of the inverter 17 is given to a switch 7 of a detection circuit 1 to turn on/off the switch 7 depending on the output level. When the switch 7 turns on, a voltage of a sensor 5 is picked up at a terminal 12 through the switch 7 and an integration circuit 10. Since the steering angle detected at the sensor 5 is unstable at low speed and stable at high speed, the voltage at the terminal 12 is a voltage almost corresponding to the steering angle center with a time constant determined with the characteristics of the switch 7 and the circuit 10. Thus, the detecting accuracy of the steering angle center can be increased. |
