PURPOSE:To provide a manual dot printer for pocketable elctronic desk calculator in super low consumption of power and super thin structure, by a method wherein a printing head is transferred in one direction by manual operation and dot printing is performed by the printing head according to signal in synchronization with the transferring speed. CONSTITUTION:In order to record calculation results of an electronic desk calculator, when a manual knob 4 is transferred in arrow a direction by manual operation, a first lead switch 34 is turned ON and printing is ready and detecting means 48 further generates timing pulse in synchronization with transferring of a printing head 8. Since the timing pulse is synchronized with the transferring speed irrespective of smallvariation of the speed, printing without deformation is effected. When the head 8 reaches a second lead switch 35, printing end pulse is generated. The head 8 can be reset by spring means and the energy stored during this process rotates a ratchet gear and feeds a printing paper 5 by a prescribed amount. |
