PURPOSE:To raise the S/N ratio of a reproducing video information, by combining and processing the demodulating output signals obtained from plural signal detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Pickups 2a and 2b are placed on a disk 1 so that information can be detected by the timing which has been shifted from each other by an integer field period, demodulating output signals 4a and 4c are obtained through FM demodulating systems 3a and 3b and a variable delay line 9 from these pickups 2a and 2b, and are inputted to a signal processing system 5. When reproducing a moving picture, this signal processing system 5 adds the demodulating output signals 4a, 4b so as to send out a reproducing video information having scarcely a noise component, and when reproducing a static picture, the demodulating output signals 4a and 4b are switched so as to send out a reproducing video information consisting of the demodulating output signal of an odd or even field only. In this way, it is possible to obtain a reproducing video information whose S/N ratio is raised, and to reproduce a static picture having no fluctuation. |
