PURPOSE:To load a sheet at a normal position on a glass, by providing a confirming mechanism for sheet attitude at the ridge of a sheet stopper side on a sheet loading stand other than a detecting means to detect tip of sheet. CONSTITUTION:Carrying of an original is divided into a main carrying from an original pay-off point of an original pay-off means 2 up to a stopper 9 provided at the ridge of a glass 7 over an original tip detecting means 8, in original carriying length L as a limit, and subcarrying taking an interval l between the means 8 and the stopper 9 as a carrying drive length unit and number of times N determined experimentally as a limit. Thus, even if the main carrying does not reach the L, the means 8 detects the tip of original, and even if the subcarrying does not reach the limit N, when an original attitude confirming mechanism 10 detects the normality, the repetition therafter is stopped to load the sheet on the normal position of glass. |
