PURPOSE:To eliminate a fire hazard resulting from an ignition failure by a method wherein a soot blower is so constituted that it is driven when an output signal is generated from a circuit applying a signal at the time of realization of a condition of the ignition failure of a boiler during operation other than a normal one. CONSTITUTION:If an ignition failure is occurred due to the unforeseen cause during starting operation of a boiler, the ignition failure causing a realization of the ignition failure is detected and an ignition failure realization circuit 8 is turned on. Thus, of the above an auxiliary relay 4 is excited, and a warming circuit 6 is actuated for warming of piping (drainage). Upon completion of the warming an auxiliary relay 5 is excited. When points of contacts 4a and 5a for the above relays 4 and 5 are turned on respectively due to excitation of the relay 4 and 5, an auxiliary relay 1 is excited, points of contacts 1a and 1b are turned on, and an auxiliary relay 3 and an electromagnetic contactor 9 are excited. Because of this a soot blower drive motor 13 is excited and an unburnt material resulting from the ignition failure is removed. |
