PURPOSE:To make disposal of residual ashes easy by a method wherein a blower mechanism which supplies a fixed quantity of combustibles is provided at the upper part of a funnel combustion chamber, a blower mechanism which causes generation of a rotary air current is provided at its lower part, and the combustibles are burnt while they are drifted through the rotary air current. CONSTITUTION:In a combustion chamber 2 of a funnel type combustion furnace 1 whose cross section diameter reduces gradually from the top to bottom, an ignition burner 6 is provided, and a blower system A consists of a blower 15 to supply a fixed quantity of combustibles, such as chaff and a throw-in nozzle 3 is provided above the ignition burner 6 as well. And, a blower mechanism B which occurs a rotary air current of a fixed direction in the combustion chamber 2 is provided below the ignition burner 6. The blower system B is constituted by providing four spouting holes 4 at regular intervals in the vicinity of the bottom 5 of the combustion chamber 2. Each of the spouting holes 4 fixes its spouting direction and a secondary air by a blower 4a is made through a loop supply duct 4b. And at the time of combustion the combustibles are burnt while the combustibles are made to float by the generated swirling gaseous steam. |
