发明名称 DEVELOPING METHOD FOR ELECTROSTATIC LATENT IMAGE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the dropout and disturbance of images and to improve image reproducibility by binding photoconductive fine powder with a resin and using a photoreceptor subjected to a smoothing treatment to <=3mum smoothness as an electrostatic latent image carrier. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 consists of photoconductive fine powder CdS.nCdCO3 which is bound with a thermosetting acrylic resin and is polished by buffing on the surface. Smoothing treatments which are normally known other than the above-mentioned polishing by buffing may be practised for the smoothing treatment to be applied on the surface of the drum 1. It is also possible to execute the smoothing treatment by coating a resin equal to the binder resin on the surface of the photoreceptor. AC bias voltage is applied from an AC bias power source 13 to a developing sleeve 10. Thereby, the discharge phenomena among the polarized toner particles is stabilized, and therefore the generation of the dropout and disturbance of images is obviated.
