PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of belt shapes owing to middle elongation and to prolong the life of the belts in a continuous casting machine device by disposing guide blocks attachably and detachably on both sides of the guide members on the rear of endless belts. CONSTITUTION:Molten metal is introduce into a mold constituted of an inside belt 3, an outside belt 4, and side face guide plates 12, and cooling water is supplied through the supply ports 16 of the outer guide 14a and inner guide 14b to form high velocity cooling water films 20 through cooling water chambers 17 and cooling water outflow ports 18, thereby cooling the molten metal via the belts 3, 4 and making an ingot 11. Plural guide blocks 22 are fitted attachably and detachably to guide supporting devices 21 on both sides of the guides 14b so that the molten metal is cooled. Thereby, these are constituted to the same width as the guides 14a, and the degradation is shape owing to middle elongation is prevented. |
