PURPOSE:To obtain a speaker box having a light weight and high rigidity, by sticking the thin plates to both sides of a core of a honeycomb structure with the area of one of the two plates set larger than the other one and performing the assembly by making use of the blank space of the larger thin plate. CONSTITUTION:Nonmetallic foils like the high-quality craft paper, etc. or metallic foils of aluminum, etc. are adhered together. Thus thin plates 2 and 2' of alminum, etc. are stuck on both sides of a core 1 of a honeycomb structure. The area of the plate 2 is set larger than that of the plate 2', and a speaker box is assembled at the blank space of the plate 2 by means of an adhesive or screws. An upper plate 4 and a bottom plate 5 are adhered to a side face plate 3 with an adhesive with addition of a reinforcing agent 6 at four corners. Then a rear plate 7 and a baffle plate 8 are attached, and then a speaker unit is attached. Then a front panel 9 is attached to complete the assembly. Owing to the honeycomb structure, a light weigth and high rigidity are obtained. Furthermore the sound absorbing effect can be increased by varying the material of the plates 2 and 2'. |
